1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips175g

Instructions
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and melted butter. Mix well. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined.
Sift together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not over-mix.
Baking
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
Topping Preparation
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Once the brownies are cool, place the halved strawberries on top of the brownie layer. Drizzle or spread the melted chocolate over the strawberries until they are well coated.
Serving
Place the brownies in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. Once firm, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For longer storage, wrap individually in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for about 3 months.
